Motorcycle and cowboys and Indians fans will enjoy a special treat this summer. Guided motorcycle tours exploring the culture of the wild west set in the scenic desert region in Oregon. Beautiful landscape of desert plains, river canyons, ranch lands, volcanoes, and the Cascade Mountains, these will adorn the tour taking riders to breathtakingly beautiful and less-traveled roads. The all-inclusive, small guided tours by Western Motor Riders also feature authentic Americana where cowboys, gunfights and Indian culture were at their best.
Western Moto Riders’ week-long motorcycle tours will begin on May 24, 2012, and will continue every other week through mid-September. Guests will spend the week at The Phoenix Inn Hotel and Suites in Bend. Each day will bring a new six-to-eight-hour ride, lunch break and an experience of western culture: gun-fighting exhibition, a visit to a ghost tow, visiting cowboys on a working cattle ranch and Native Americans on an Indian reservation to give riders an experience of the western lifestyle.
Bend’s downtown tourist attractions, its restaurants and vivid nightlife complete these themed holiday. Beer lovers will also have a blast, as Central Oregon is well known for its 13 craft brewers, including the renowned Deschutes Brewery and the wide range of brew pubs where to have a taste.
Founded by entrepreneurs Richard Klyce and Cathy Paxton, Western Moto Riders mainly targets American West enthusiasts in Germany, England and Japan.All those planning to try out this interestingly-themed holiday experience must own a valid motorcycle license and will be required to purchase liability insurance with the package. Owning a motorcycle is not mandatory, but it might save tourists some money.
