Seychelles is a tropical archipelago located off the coast of East Africa. It is a cluster of 115 islands situated in the Indian Ocean about 1600kms east of Kenya and 1100kms northeast of Madagascar. This beautiful island country proclaimed its independence from British rule in 1976. It boasts of a cultural mix of British, French, African, and in the most recent times, Chinese and Indian influences. Victoria is the capital city of Seychelles.

The magical forest of Valle de Mai is also called the “Garden of Eden” due to its mystic and the warm green glow it emanates. The Coco de Mer palms produce the most giant and heaviest seeds in the world. You can also spot the rare black parrot and the unique Seychellois bulbul in the forest.
