The Harem is the most prized jewel of Topkapi if you ask me (even if there are rubies, diamonds and other stones large enough to be used as weapons within the palace). The idea of a harem in itself is intriguing, and the fine details and golden ornaments of it just make it even more enticing. If you’re turned off by the fact it has different visiting hours (shorter) than the rest of Topkapi, or the fact that you need to pay extra, I still say go for it, it’s quite worth it!
