A day cruise around Oludeniz is a very lively event. Turkish music blasting on board the boat, people running around the beach when you depart, lunch served on the boat, stopping here and there and jumping in the water, the jet ski circling around, enticing tourists to take a ride, it’s all a bit overwhelming and enjoying it means you’ll be drained at the end of the day. Maybe that’s why everything seems to slow down in the afternoon and, along with the changing light, the atmosphere is suddenly different. That was when this photo was taken, when everyone was getting lazier, quieter, more open to silently enjoying the scenery.
