This luxury train was started in January 2010. It is a venture which was jointly started by IRCTC and Cox and Kings India which is a travel agency. It is beautiful, of course, and it is the most expensive luxury train of our country. One can travel like a true Maharaja in this train with the facilities like lounge, generator, dining area, bar area, internet, TV, and in-suite bathroom along with food and beverages. The train runs from October to April and the price range is from INR 24000 to 4400 per person per night depending on the cabin. It offers four journeys which are listed below.

  • Princely India – Mumbai – Vadodara – Ajanta – Udaipur – Jodhpur – Bikaner – Jaipur – Ranthambore – Agra – Delhi (8 days and 7 nights).
  • Classical India – Delhi – Agra – Gwalior – Orchha – Khajuraho – Bandhavgarh – Varanasi – Lucknow – Delhi (7 days and 6 nights).
  • Royal India – Delhi – Agra – Ranthambore – Jaipur – Bikaner – Jodhpur – Udaipur – Vadodara – Balasinor – Mumbai (8 days and 7 nights).
  • Treasurly India – Delhi – Agra – Ranthambore – Jaipur – Kota – Delhi

It was India’s first pan country luxury train which was initially started in January 1982 and then again relaunched in 2009. This train is the fourth best luxury train in the whole damn world. This is also called as a cruise train which has 14 salons, 2 restaurants, spa, live TV, internet, Live TV, exotic bar, and high security. The train passes through the sand dunes and the castles of Rajasthan and gives the utmost royal experience. It covers the journey majorly I Rajasthan and the price varies from 26000 to 36000 per person per night according to the seasons.

  • Route – Delhi-Jaipur- Udaipur- Swai Madhopur- Chittorgarh- Jaisalmer- Jodhpur- Bharatpur- Agra. (8 to 13 days)

It is one of the best luxury trains in India and it is run by RTDC. It runs from September to April every year and gives the world-class luxury facilities like restaurants, super deluxe rooms, board room, fitness room, bar, salon, spa, and internet facility. This luxury train was launched in 2009. It literally takes you to the royal Rajasthan tour on wheels. The prices vary from 38000 to 1 lakh per person per night depending upon the suites.

  • Route – New Delhi- Jodhpur- Udaipur- Chittorgarh- Sawai Madhopur- Jaipur- Khajuraho- Varanasi- Agra

One of the other gorgeous luxury trains in India is the golden chariot which runs from Karnataka to Goa. It is a royal itinerary train and looks extremely gorgeous which has 19 coaches and the entire train is in purple and gold colour. It has restaurants, conference room, lounge bar, gym, and also exotic spa facilities. It was started in 2008 and it covers the historical sites, golden beaches and some of the beautiful wildlife sanctuaries. The prices vary from 16000 to 20000 per person per night.

  • Route – Bangalore – Nagarhole National Park – Mysore – Srirangapatna – Shravanabelagola – Belur – Halebidu – Hampi – Badami – Pattadakal – Goa

This train gives the royal experience of the Deccan India. It runs from September to April every year. This train offers the royal journey only once in a month. The prices vary from 36000 to 56000 per person per night. It is a venture of Maharashtra MTDC with the Indian Railway. It has 21 coaches, restaurants, sauna, business centre, bar, spa facility, internet and great food.
