The Amsterdam, the famous Dutch East India Company ship, will forever be a pirate ship for me! Maybe because there were pirates promoting it when I first saw it? For some reason, I always refer to it as the pirate ship next to Nemo (it was near the Nemo science center at the time), and although I know it has nothing to do with reality, I can’t change my image of it. It does look like it could take a few pirates on their sea adventures, doesn’t it?
