When it comes to exotic destinations, India is becoming an increasingly popular choice for travelers. But like any international trip, there is a lot of planning required. Fortunately, hotel booking is relatively easy as you can normally book reservation online and when you shop around, you’ll usually find cheap hotels that are still near 5-star quality.
Here are a few of India’s premier hotels that you can stay at for reasonable rates:
The Orchid, Mumbai
Considered as one of the most beautiful five star hotels in India, the Orchid started the trend of eco-friendly hotels in Mumbai. The atrium features a beautiful waterfall surrounded by a 24-hour coffee shop called The Boulevard, which features a “Lightning Menu” or “10-minute menu” that provides your order by a guaranteed time or it is free. On the rooftop, there is a barbeque cooking modern fusion cuisine. There is also South of Vindhya’s, also known as Merlin’s which many consider the best restaurant in Mumbai.
The hotel rooms in the Orchid are clean, comfortable, relaxing and offer several different levels of luxury depending on your needs: starting with the most basic, the 225 square foot Deluxe Room includes two beds, free coffee, internet access and mineral water; the Presidential Suite, a 700 square foot luxury suite, has a living room, dining area and bedroom. It also includes a Jacuzzi, a massage chair and a walk in closet.
The Jaypee Residency Manor, Mussoorie
Jaypee Hotels will also make your time in India the best it can be. There are hotels in Agra and Mumbai, all with plenty of interesting things to see and do both on site and around the city. If you happen to venture out, you’ll find beautiful lakes, gardens and waterfalls, along with Sir George Everest’s (the man whom Mt.
