How to get from LANGKAWI to KOH LIPE
The ferry ride from Langkawi to Koh Lipe was easy. You will receive an immigration card at Telaga Harbour Marina to fill out and use in Koh Lipe, as this is an additional country. Thailand requires an entry visa. However, you do not need to worry about a visa requirement.
You’ll have to complete your immigration card and go through immigration and security before boarding the ship. After a short wait, we were finally allowed on board. On board, there was entertainment, usually a movie on the way back. As we returned, we watched Venom. It was a strange film. The movie changes every now and then.
Only the immigration process at Pattaya Beach, Koh Lipe, was a problem. This person needed to be more organized! After waiting for hours to pick up our passports and go through immigration, we finally got them. The problem was that passports were sorted by country and then family name. You had to wait a lot when you were from a country near the end of the alphabet. It took a long time for the United Kingdom’s name to be called. God knows what visitors for one day had to endure. You first had to get your passport and then authenticate it.
You will then be photographed and charged the 200 TBH entrance and cleaning fees. Before you can proceed, your bag or luggage must be scanned. My mom was with me, so I didn’t have to be checked because they had already done hers. After we reached our accommodation, we relaxed on the island.
