- NORTHERN IRELAND
GOT LOCATION – A LOT OF WESTEROS
The enchanting forest where the Arya escapes the Lannisters is in this place from the season 2. And also most parts of the outdoor shoot from the first season are done in this place. The major exotic locations in the outdoors are over the trek and difficult to find out. And the interior shoot is done in Paint Hall Studios. The Dark Hedges which depicted the King’s road, castleward in County Down of the parts of Winter fell and many more other scenes are shot here which can be visited. So, one location is Northern Ireland.

GOT LOCATION – KING’S LANDING
If you are a die-hard GOT fan, then this is a piece of serious news for you. Every politics surrounding the iron throne and the chaos on the streets are some of the best scenes of the series. From season two to season five, Croatia has been a major destination in the series. The legendary battle of backwater was shot in the port’s city bay. The nearby fortress-like Minceta tower, Bokar, and Lovrijenac fortress are also in Croatia.

One of the major game of thrones locations is Morocco. The dramatic conquest of Khaleesi of Slaver’s Bay from the season three is shot in Morocco. These places are listed as the world heritage site by UNESCO. These are those sites which are extremely gorgeous and worth seeing even if they are not a part of the GOT series. Seville city provides a lot of the Dornish stand-ins. The most of them all was the real-life castle Alcazar of Seville and the flashback scenes of the Tower of Joy was shot in the castle of Zafra in Spain. So, you know you have to visit these places in Spain if you love GOT. I am sure you will love these places to the core.
- ICELAND
GOT LOCATION – NORTH OF THE WALL
What was the home or the place of threat against the seven kingdoms in the GOT series? The massive defensive fortification along the northern border of Westeros and the areas beyond the wall, all these locations are shot in Iceland. The major war scenes are also shot at the enormous and lavish locations at Iceland. The exact places of the shooting are Vatnajokull and Myrdalsjokull glaciers. The famous lake Myvatn is also a major shooting place in Iceland.
