As summer is fast approaching and Hawaii is the perfect destination for beach holidays that attract all types of travelers, from adventure seekers, to families, to older tourists, future brides and honeymooners, Virtuoso is pushing their packages to as many potential buyers as they can reach. The ‘Hawaii Virtual Travel Show’ will take place on June 2, 2011, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. PDT. Those interested in attending should register in advance here. At this time, registration is free.

“We are delighted to host such an exciting and eco-savvy event,” said Kristi Jones, CTC, President and COO of Virtuoso. “Visitors to the ‘Hawaii Virtual Travel Show’ can browse the exhibits at their leisure, while engaging in dialog with experts at each ‘booth’ to have their personal questions answered. By focusing on a destination that offers family friendly summer travel, multigenerational vacations and destination weddings and honeymoons, our first-ever virtual travel show will allow people to learn about the splendor of Hawaii from the comfort of their own homes.”

Organized by Virtuoso with its partners, Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau, Pleasant Holidays, American Safari Cruises and Access America, the travel show will promote Hawaii’s best resorts, cruise deals, and the always needed travel insurance. Attendees will be presented with travel opportunities and tempted with a plethora of benefits: free nights, onboard credits and free stays for children up to 18 year. The biggest incentive to attend is the 1,000 US dollars gift card that one lucky attendee will win. Also, all Hawaii vacation enthusiasts that register before May 27th may win an additional 100 US dollars gift card.

In order to attend the ‘Hawaii Virtual Travel Show’, travelers need a computer with Internet access. Virtuoso lists high-speed Internet – cable, DSL or network, Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher, Firefox 3.6 or higher and Safari 4.x or higher as minimum requirements. The two operating systems listed are Windows (no specific edition listed) and Mac, but we cannot really tell why a Linux platform wouldn’t do the job.
