Top 100 Most Popular Resorts in North America and the Caribbean Revealed

cvent-logo-2The cloud-based enterprise event management platform Cvent released today the list with the 100 most popular resorts in North America and the Caribbean.

This top was compiled based on meeting and event booking activity in the Cvent Supplier Network. Over 3,500 qualifying properties in North America and the Caribbean were analyzed based on criteria such as amenities, number of guest rooms, meeting space and number of meeting rooms and volume of meetings and room nights booked.

“Resorts have made a post-recession comeback, with demand for corporate meetings and events growing as the economy has improved,” said Eric Eden, vice president of marketing for Cvent. “Resorts provide an all-inclusive atmosphere that engages meeting attendees while also entertaining them. This is important for all types of events, from companies offering incentive travel experiences and entertaining clients and prospects, to content-heavy meetings where learning can happen in a fun and relaxing setting.”

The first 10 resorts featured in the list are Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa, Renaissance Esmeralda Indian Wells Resort & Spa, The Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa, JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa, Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort, Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort & Spa at Grande Dunes, The Venetian and Palazzo Resort, Hotel & Casinos and Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa.

This is an interesting list, and a really useful one in the same time. Of course this list could be different if made by other similar services providers, but as far as I see, there are many important names present, therefore a different list compiled by another company focusing on such all-inclusive resorts offering meeting possibilities would include many resorts from this list.
