5 Luxury Hotels from Top Destinations Around the World

If you don’t know where to go next to explore as much of the world as possible, we have five ideas for destinations on four different continents. We’ll start with Europe, move to the gateway to Asia, then take a trip through the Americas. From beach holidays to urban delights, you’ll definitely need to visit them all!

Budget Stay in the Heart of Amsterdam

Amsterdam is one of the top European destinations for those who want to explore the beauty of the continent, its art, history, and, more often than not, the freedom of entertainment. From the Van Gogh Museum to the Red Light District, from canal cruises to enjoying special brownies, you will never exhaust the things to do and see in the capital of the Netherlands. The Amsterdam Mariott Hotel helps you stay in the heart of the city without spending all of your budget on accommodations. It’s pet friendly, provides child care, and offers free Wi-Fi to keep you connected.

Pamper Yourself in Barcelona

There is a lot to see in Barcelona, and it usually involves a lot of walking. After a delightful stroll to explore Gaudi’s art and the Majoral Gallery of Art, you’ll be glad to have chosen the Majestic Hotel & Spa in Barcelona. Of the many Barcelona hotels, this one enables you to relax and pamper yourself, while keeping you close to the many museums, restaurants, and galleries surrounding it.

Luxury Stay in Istanbul’s Historic District

Sultanahmet is one of the best areas to choose for a home base in Istanbul. The mosque with the same name, Sultan Ahmet Mosque, or the Blue Mosque, is one of the most iconic symbols of Istanbul. Ayasofya, or Hagia Sophia, is right across the street from the Blue Mosque, and the Topkapi Palace is two minutes’ walk away. With its luxury accommodations, attention to detail, and location in a building that used to be a prison a century ago, the Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet is our top recommendation for the city of two continents. To make it to Asia, just take a boat trip across the sea to visit Kiz Kulesi on the Asian side!

Luxury Beach Vacation in Costa Rica

After an exhausting exploration of Europe and the Asian side of Turkey, it’s time to relax with the perfect Central American beach holiday in Costa Rica. We’ve chosen El Ocotal as a destination and the Hotel Riu Palace Costa Rica All Inclusive to welcome you. The dark sandy beach is only a few steps away, there’s a hotel pool in which to cool down. All the other famous beaches and snorkeling spots are a short drive away. So what are you waiting for?

Isla Mujeres All Inclusive Holiday

Moving up to North America, we’re still keeping close to the beach. Mexico’s Isla Mujeres is the perfect place for an island vacation without the noisy party vibe Cancun usually boasts. The Finest Playa Mujeres by Excellence Group – All inclusive’s rooms are huge, with modern design that exudes Mexican inspiration. A bistro restaurant, a lounge, and a pool bar, along with the fitness center and the oversized Jacuzzi and spa, will keep you busy.

  2. Glorious photographs. Simply wow! I have made it a point to visit this part of the world and put up in the accommodations that you have recommended.

  3. Sounds like you’ve stayed in some terrific hotels! I’ve never really stayed in a luxury hotel. The closest I’ve come was Le Pavilion in New Orleans, which I love. But when I have the money I would love to stay at those hotels in Barcelona or Amsterdam.

    • I always try to find great deals. Sometimes, these happen to be four or five star hotels. And when it’s events or business that I travel for, the organizers tend to go with more of a luxury type of venue, because of the services they offer.
